- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Rub the Wellbone New York Strip Steaks with olive oil on both sides.
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture on both sides of the steaks.
- Place the steaks in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes for medium-rare steaks, flipping the steaks halfway through the cooking time.
- Check the internal temperature of the steaks with a meat thermometer. For medium-rare, the internal temperature should be around 135°F (57°C).
- If the steaks are not yet cooked to your desired level of doneness, continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
