Is this your first rebrand?

You may be surprised to learn this isn't our first rebrand. We originally started as Vaquero Beef in the midst of a turbulent 2020.

Once we started to grow, it was time to take professionalism up a notch. Vaquero Beef became Fasteak in 2021.

And in 2023 we reached our third—and hopefully last brand name: Wellbone.

Why did you change your name?

As we constantly improved, we noticed our ideal customers were heads of the family—men and women alike.

They appreciate a variety of healthy, delicious staple food at a reasonable price, and prefer value products over fast steaks.

We came to the conclusion that a warmer, friendlier name was just what we needed. One that transmitted our core values: family, virtues and affordability.

Why Wellbone?

As the result of an exhaustive design process, we landed on Wellbone as a brand name for the following reasons:

It’s short and easy to remember: With just two syllables, “Wellbone” is a simple and straightforward name that should be easy for everyone to remember.

It has a positive connotation: The word “well” is associated with good health and wellness, a strong selling point that resonates with who we are and what our customers want.

It is also a reference to the quality of the meat products we select and offer.

The word “bone” is a metaphor: the core of who we are, and it's also a synecdoche: the variety of meat products we offer from different animals.

Did the meat change too, or are the products still the same?

Great news! Our products are the same you know and love, plus some new eventual additions we'll be making based on your suggestions.

When will I start to see the new packaging in my delivery?

Our new packaging will start appearing at your doorstep during the second quarter of 2023. You might still see our prior Fasteak labels and packaging inside your new Wellbone bags.

Will I still receive my orders in a box?

We will eventually transition from a box to an insulated reusable bag. This will allow us to reduce waste and add more value to our customers.

Is the new bag reusable?

You can choose to switch the insulated bag for a new one with every delivery, or keep it. If you decide to keep it, you can reuse it for different purposes.

Does the new bag have the same product count as the boxes?

Yes, the new bag has the same product count as our previous boxes. Currently, there are medium and large sizes.

I have a subscription with you, is it still active?

Yes. All subscriptions are still valid. If you wish to update yours, you can always contact Wellbone Customer Care.
